Roger Lane

Roger took up kayaking in earnest when he moved to South Devon in the year 2000 and joined Totnes Canoe Club. Having access to estuaries, flat water, moving white water and some glorious coastline he discovered he was in paddling heaven!

He spends a lot of time coaching voluntarily with the Club, both with beginners and intermediate paddlers and loves to see people progress with their skills in a safe, fun and supportive environment. He loves to explore the unspoilt places on rivers and coastline with interesting people.  

Roger has been helping Winding River Canoe with various camping trips on the Wye and the Dart since 2011, enjoying the company of a range of different age groups and backgrounds in a stunning surroundings.
